 We provide a work force that is Specifically Trained and
Certified in their craft and who are also given
additional Safety Training that is designed to meet
and/or exceed the industry standards for working on the
Offshore Vessels in the Gulf of Mexico. At this
time we provide persons to fill four (4) specific job
titles as listed below to work with the vessel crews on
the offshore vessels. These persons are all
fulltime employees of Royal Eagle Services and take part
in the benefits programs provided by Royal Eagle
Services. These employees all undergo specific
Offshore Safety Training to include SafeGulf Training,
Vessel Security Awareness, Water Survival Training, etc.
They also undergo Job Specific Training, Rigging, and
Cooks undergo Safe-Food Handling, etc.
Certified Rigging Foreman:
Directs the loading and/or off-loading of the vessel and
assists in the securing of the cargo for transport while
at port or at the offshore rig/platform.
Certified Rigger:
Directly guides the cargo with the use of tag-lines into
position while loading or offloading the vessel. They
will connect and/or disconnect the crane with the cargo
being handled and secure the cargo for transit. They may
also conduct other job duties as outlined in the Rigger
Roles and Responsibilities.
Chef (Cook):
Prepares and cooks the meals for the entire crew working
the vessel. He/She will be in charge of maintaining the
galley and cookware and he/she will also prepare the
grocery list for the hitch (14 & 7 or 28 & 14).
Galley Hand:
Will
assist the chef in the maintaining of the galley and
cookware. He/She will also assist in the sanitary duties
on the vessel to include washing and drying of the
vessel laundry.
